Discovery Call
First of all, once you have looked through a modern wedding planner’s website– their about page and services, as well as their social media you will decide whether they seem like the right fit and book a call with them.
During the discovery call, I get to know the couple and I tell them about me, just so we all feel at ease– it always helps us understand whether we connect and the right fit for each other.
Ongoing Meetings
We will have ongoing meetings to ensure we are always on the same path, and so you are aware of what is going on.
Communication is key and it builds trust. You will have trust in me knowing I care for all the details and processes, enough to keep you updated throughout– whether it be all the highs or even bumps that may occur along the way.
But, don’t worry those bumps always get fixed– you never know when a vendor falls sick or a caterer can’t provide your favourite dish– there’s always someone else and it rarely happens!
Creating a budget is one of the first steps in wedding planning. Many couples struggle with this because they have no idea how much a wedding actually costs.
Budgeting
This is where a modern wedding planner comes in to give couples a solid estimate of how much their dream wedding day would cost in their desired location, allowing them to make the most of their budget.

Perfecting the Details
Your modern wedding planner will be the point of contact for your vendors, ensuring that they have all of the information they need to do their jobs and work as a cohesive team.
Of course, you’ll have questions to answer, but as a planner, I will present them to you in an organized manner so you don’t feel overwhelmed.
Deal with the Logistics
Yes, there will be a lot going on during your wedding day, but your wedding planner will take care of everything.
From supervising vendors to managing setup and delivery, dealing with emergencies to calming nerves, as a planner, I am the point person so you can relax and enjoy the day–-after all, isn’t that what a wedding should be about?
Styling your Wedding
Your wedding planner may also collaborate with your florist and other professionals to create design elements for your big day, such as escort card displays, signage, and other details.
Many couples hire a modern wedding stylist to assist them with the full design!
However, I am a modern wedding planner and stylist in one, so you wouldn’t need to worry about hiring two people. It makes sense for the planning and styling to be done by the same person as they go so well hand in hand.
