Ireland wedding venue is THE ABBEY for the month of February. Newly refurbished this exclusive venue will open its doors in the spring. I just love the contemporary vibe and cant wait to see weddings come alive there.
Tell us about your wedding venue?
Over the past two years, The Abbey has been lovingly
restored into a beautiful exclusive wedding venue, which has 38
boutique bedrooms, our own atmospheric Chapel featuring
beautiful stained-glass windows, and a 120-year-old mosaic
floor. The interiors are contemporary with a lot of rich colors. It’s the perfect surrounding to say I do.
Where is the Ireland wedding venue located?
Just in Kildare, about 45min from Dublin.
What’s the capacity for weddings?
Up to 250 for dinner and 150 for ceremonies but we can cater for microweddings as well.
Can you hold ceremonies?
Yes, we have a gorgeous chapel where ceremonies can be held.
Do you offer catering services?
Yes, we praise ourselves to offer an exceptional dining experience for our couples.
When will the venue open ?
Opening April – May 2021
What should couples know before choosing their wedding venue?
The Abbey has been totally designed for wedding celebrations and to give modern couples an exceptional experience on their wedding day.
Tell me something about your venue which I can’t find in your brochure?
Before we started the renovation of The Abbey, we mapped out what the ultimate wedding venue would look like. We then set about reconfiguring the layout of The Abbey, so our couples maximize each entertaining space. In addition, our interior designer has worked on some of the top hotels and bars in London, has based our interiors on the SOHO HOUSE private members club who are known for their interiors which give customers a sense of wonderment and joy. The Abbey’s interiors take this philosophy but tailored to the character of the building.
Does the venue support a certain wedding theme?
I would say The Abbey has the perfect backdrop for any wedding but the ability to style the venue to meet the couple’s taste.

Do you offer accommodation?
Yes, we have a total of 39 bedrooms when you include the bridal suite.
What’s the best season to get married at your venue?
They have private use of the venue, on-site chapel can sleep the majority of the wedding party, unique spaces for entreating and we have good availability for 2021 and 2022.
